◦ PSYCHOLOGICAL EVALUATION ◦ Please describe yourself to the best of your ability, in only five words. ('And' will not count towards these.):Dedicated, Punctual, Focused, Clean, Efficient. You're in a desert, walking along. You look down and see a tortoise. You reach down and flip the tortoise over on its back. The tortoise lays on its back, trying to right itself, but it can't. Not without your help. But you're not helping. Why?:Darwinism. Organisms that are able to self-right don't bake in the sun. Those go on to thrive and the ecological systems of the planet evolve along with. Were it not for that, humanity might not be here. You find a glass. The total volume capacity of the glass is taken up half by water and half by air. Is the glass half empty, or half full?:The glass is half full. What methods would you employ in order to relax during times of stress, and how effective do you think these have been in the past?:I like to engage in trivial things that make my mind focus on something else, such as crossword puzzles or tending to house-plants and cleaning. Please list three traits about yourself that you consider negative, and three traits about yourself that you consider positive. Explain these choices if necessary:Negative traits would probably include intolerance of disorder, a tendency to be controlling of my environment, and a tendency to trust too quickly. Positive traits might include an easy ability to socialise with my peers at work, efficiency at my job and my desire to keep up to date on latest medical advances and training in my field. Describe one event in your life that you would change if you could, and why:I would have stayed at the boarding school my parents sent me to in Year Seven. Unfortunately, I decided to come home instead, and attended a local but prestigious secondary school, where I had some troubles with elder peers, which later led to other troubles. If I had stayed at boarding school, I might have evaded that portion of my past and the repercussions of it. If a superior gave you a task to complete, to which you were wholly, morally opposed, what would you do?:I would consult the medical oath I took upon receiving my doctorate. If I didn't feel that my oath -and therefore my security in my line of work- was being compromised, I would complete the task. If I felt my oath was being ignored, I would talk to my supervisor and find a compromise. If you caught a friend and co-worker stealing from your place of employment, breaking rules, and/or endangering the safety of others, what would you do?:If the safety of patients and staff was at risk, I would report the dangerous behaviour. For rule breaking and stealing, i would talk to the responsible party personally and attempt to resolve the situation. If your application for employment to the Thamesmead Facility is approved, will you agree to sign a full non-disclosure agreement, knowing that you would be unable to discuss any methods, protocols, subjects or other staff members with anyone not also employed by Brideston Pharmacokinetics?:Yes. If hired by Brideston Pharmacokinetics would you agree to follow all facility rules, guidelines and orders or instructions given to you by superiors, regardless of moral objections or other hindrances?:Yes, within the bounds of my medical oath. ________________________________________________________________________
◦ ENVIRONMENTAL SCREENING ◦ Where did you grow up, and what was it like there?:
I grew up in an admittedly affluent are of Highgate, London, bordering Hampstead Heath. I was financially blessed through my family, so there were few difficulties growing up, and the neighbourhood was very pleasant.
What are/were your social interactions like? Do/did you have many friends and/or relationships?:
I did not keep many friends, growing up, and I do tend to be somewhat reclusive to this day. My relationships are fine.
What prompted you to pursue the career path you are now following?:
After being in the US for over six years, I want to come home, back to London. Given my field of experience, a position at your facility would suit my skill set perfectly.
Were you ever a member of the armed forces or of a law enforcement or security agency? If yes, please list rank and branch, or company name and location:
No.
Do/Did you ever abuse controlled substances, including but not limited to alcohol, prescription medications, street drugs and tobacco?:
I smoke tobacco intermittently, and I am known to go to the pub of an evening from time to time, but I would not class either as 'abuse'.
Have you ever been convicted of a crime? If yes, please list conviction(s) and served sentence(s) below:
No.
